Fuzz line (based on the traditional 2-transistor fuzz circuit)
A line of simple fuzz circuits with various transistor types.
No ready devices, no real sound samples, just projects.
Some more details and discussions are in the links below (in Russian).

Great! Thanks so much for these.
At a glance, those transistors seem unfamiliar to me, novice that I am. And surface mount might be all that's available. In the US anyway. Maybe someone knows of TO92 substitutes to recommend?
"...TO92 substitutes to recommend..."
BC849C, BC850C = BC546...BC550 (A...С), maybe BC107...BC109 Usual small-signal npn trannies, beta from 100 to 600
MMBF170 = BS170, 2N7000
BF512 = J110, 2N5457, 2N5458 Small-Signal N-channel JFET, Ucutoff=1,6...3,0 Volts
6) Der Schmuzzi Fuzzi (Sweety Smoothie Fuzz-Shmuzz)
Two-stage hi-gain ampifier with switchable "resonant peak" and wide range gain control (33dB).

Some mods for 6) are available on February 1st, 2018. Please see the above mentioned link.

7) 3TM1 Fuzz (3-Transistor Mod 1)
High gain fuzz/distortion box with enhanced gain control feature: control range is from 17dB to 73dB just with single pot (totally 56dB).
It has "fuzz-traditional" common emitter BJT stage cascaded with "overdrive-traditional" SRPP FET stage.
Power consumption is as low as 0.34mA.
The fuzz works with 7VDC to 12VDC power supply without any noticeable changes of signal form.
Very low elements count is a bonus.

8 ). 3TM2 Fuzz (3-Transistor Mod 2)
Simplified but enhanced version of the previous fuzz.
Flexible frequency response control, more gain control, less component count.
At the same time, higher quiescent current (0.63mA vs 0.34mA previously).

9) 3TM3 fuzz, final version.
Reduced current drain - 0.53mA including LEDs.
BMPi-style tone control and output buffer.
Switch 1 - stomp switch 3-rd contact or PNP-transistor of the Millenium Bypass circuit.
