Title: circuits using an XR2206 VCO
Post by: Rodgre on September 19, 2005, 08:34:54 AM
Does anyone have any experience with the XR2206 VCO/Function Generator IC?  I have two of them and I would love to build something useful with them. An LFO? A synth VCO?

Any ideas? Any links to get me to some DIY synth circuits that might use them? I've Googled, but come up with nothing useful.

For people dumpster diving, the XR2206 was designed for very early modems (the kind that are about as big as the computer). Also, I remember some "talk like a dalek" kit based on it, can't find a link though.

I used it and the 8038 in LFOs for vibe type effects. Makes getting a nice sine wave output simple.
