I'm just reporting what someone said some time ago...

You can make the whammy circuit from the schem (and to me it looks a little more complicated than a TubeScreamer), but you need a software to make it work.

I guess this is not a negligible point....

I'm conversant in several programming languages and have done contract and independant software development so this ought to be fun. I've had a little experience with embedded programming using assembly language so I'm looking forward to this. Thanks!

Anyone know where I can get my hands on the source code?

I copied the XP-100 code onto my PC, PM me with your email address if you'd like it.  Hey, since it sounds like you have a background in this stuff, I was wondering if you might know how to mix and match different programs from the different XP models (they're all the same circuit, just different software, each model has 30-50 different patches you can call up).  I'd love to put the a couple of the whammy patches on the space station eprom, but it is over my head.
