Title: the nicer stomps
Post by: kvb on May 18, 2009, 12:45:39 PM
I hadn't seen it mentioned anywhere, but I noticed that a few stomp switches that I got from you had a different sized plastic washer and a metal one.

These are nicer and have a smoother switching action - a little less pressure to switch and less of a "click"

in my latest order the stomps I got were the usual ones

I'm not complaining, just curious about where the nicer stomps came from and how available they are.

peace,
Kevin

I get all of my switches from EH. They are the ones changing their parts and when I order, I get what they have. I will relay this message.

Thanks,

Aron

I actually prefer the firmer ones, because when they break in they tend to be more robust over time.  The ones that are easier to operate tend to get kinda "mushy" quickly, IMHO.  I put one of those in my brothers wah and he hated it because after a week he complained he couldn't feel the "click" anymore, which was understandable.

It's 6 of one, half a dozen of the other.   :-\
