Title: looking for a datasheet (MAA501)
Post by: caress on July 15, 2011, 12:54:40 PM
anyone have a datasheet or even just a pinout for tesla MAA501?
i know it's an equivalent to UA709, but i just want to make sure it has the exact same pinout before i start messing with it.

This should help:

http://www.radiomuseum.org/tubes/tube_maa501.html
http://kvazer.com/datascheet_pdf/1497.pdf

So, yeah, looks identical.  I yearn for a 709 cos I yearn for a Kraakdoos. 8)

thanks rick!  and for that, i will send you a 709.   ;)
hmmm looks like the pinout is possibly reversed?  a proper datasheet would still help.

MAA501 is the first image with 8-1 going counterclockwise
UA709 is the second image with 8-1 going clockwise
unless they're from different orientations or i'm reading something incorrectly...

???

yeah, send me an email and i'll send you one!   ;D
