Title: building smash drive into guitar amp
Post by: g4m3fre4k on March 27, 2012, 11:31:33 PM
originally I wanted to add bass mid-range and treble to an amp but couldn't find a schematic for my Kustom KGA10 amp. But I got rid of the amps lil enclosure, replaced with
two 8 inch woofers, two tweeters, and two 2 inch mids. with matching crossovers...... but that's another project....
SO
I wanna install smash drive into guitar amp, and replace input to loop through smash drive first, NP there but I realized  gonna need a second power switch, unless there is some sort of dual power switch of some kind made that yall mite know of?????????
or perhaps a 110 volt switch that turns on both IC's (amp and foot pedal) power supplies...

open to any other suggestions
or maybe could I just build the smash drive killer versions pots minus the lm386 circuit?
I think my last idea is easiest but not sure?? any help welcomed....
