Title: How to reduce 12 v to 9 v?
Post by: JebemMajke on April 15, 2012, 02:54:56 PM
I've made framus cobra preamp, with FETs and Im running it with 12v power supply. I would like to put ROG's condor cab simulator in the same box, but condor requires 9v. Any advice?

The Condor will run fine on 12V.

use a 10v 1 watt zener diode with a 100 ohm resistor..very simple..makes a great voltage regulator....

A 78L09 provide regulated 9V without wasting as much power as a zener.
