Title: Madbean Zombii not oscillating
Post by: Richard6 on May 17, 2012, 02:20:54 PM
I can't seem to figure out why I can't get the Zombii to squeal. Q1 is a 2n3904. Q2 is a GE with 99 Hfe and Q3 is a GE with 160 Hfe. Is this too high for both spots? Also, will changing the 47k feedback resistor help any?

Are Q2 and Q3 Germanium PNP transistors?

Yes, they are a matched Fuzz Face set from Smallbear.

I could....but I don't think it would help. It did the same thing when it was on the breadboard. I used pots out of my parts bin that were ripped out of an old stereo. I've got some new pots and Ge trannies on order. Funny thing...I hate it when my Dr Boogie squeals!
