but the transistors and the diode aren't labeled in your schematic.

There such standard stuff, I totally forgot.  Mosfet is BS170, Jfet's J201 and diode 1N4818.  Sorry.  ;)

With a 2.2k resistor at the source of the last stage it is smooth and compressed.  With the diode, it's hot and nasty.   A 10k trim pot would work well there.  I should probably change the resistor in the tonestack from 100k to 47k or 22k (another trim pot).   :icon_twisted:
