Hi, I would like to share with you my latest build. It is a headphone amp that uses the TL431 shunt regulator

It is not the ultimate headphone amplifier but it serves its purpose well.

Notice the strange vol pot configuration, this is due to the fact that the TL431 does not like the input to ground version, a lot of hiss.

As it is this version has less hiss than a ruby amp used as a phone amp but less crystal. The ref for the TL431 amp is this http://www.techlib.com/electronics/audioamps.html#TL431

Tell me what you think of it? Suggestions/comments?

Cheers.

Interesting tca!  The 'hand engraving' is.. unique.  I like it.
