Because you can never have enough hands.
I saw someone else do this with some 6mm cooker cable and decided to make a set for my vice.

What he means, kipper4, is, put that file in your dropbox PUBLIC folder before getting the link- only you can open that link that you gave us.

Cool!  That would probably work with 12ga Romex too. If the clips are just taped onto the wire, you might want to consider soldering them so they can't come loose.  Thanks for the tip!   :D

Cool idea!
I'm in the process of building something like this: http://www.instructables.com/id/Third-Hand-A-multi-use-helping-hand-for-electro/
But these coolant hoses are hard to come by and are pretty costly, so I might find an alternative.

Kipper4

I saw those at the same time i made mine but as you say they were way to expensive.
I asked the fitters at work to get me some and when they told me the price i said dont bother thanks.
They use them on the metal cutting saw at work for the coolant. Maybe i should have half inched them. (kidding)

Glad you liked it.

I've said it before... but at the risk of being branded a shill:   uxcell.com   these guys have nearly EVERYTHING...  including coolant noses and hozzles... :)

Awesome website, thanks for the link! They do have a large variety of coolant hose assemblies, and I found similar results albeit with a smaller variety on Amazon.
It's a shame none of those assemblies come with the 90 degree nozzle, though.
Does anyone know if I could dis/connect these plastic links without the special pliers? 12" in length is a bit long for me.

Shill?

Someone that pretends to be independent, but is actually paid by a business to send people there, or create interest in their products.

For the record: I have no interests in uxcell, I just buy from them a bit.  I have found almost everything on their website and their postage is cheap, so whenever I see a want for something they have, I tell people! :)

For each order, it costs $5USD for the first item and $2 for every subsequent item, and they send me out a $5 coupon with my order (which I use for the next order). IThey have many 'sub-sellers' on e-bay also.

...and as soon as I post that, they change their business model... now everything costs $5 more, but with free postage,  and the 2nd, and subsequent items get a $3 discount...

It's a shame you can't get one of these things in the US ;)

Maybe you could make one? I'm buying the one as soon as. It looks perfect!

Neat, I might make one of those. My current way to grip things like that is to use a pair of pliers with an elastic band wrapped round the handles to hold to hold the jaws closed around whatever you put in them.

If i made it again i'd make a bigger base to make it more stable.
I mainly use it for knocking up Jack and Xlr leads.
Its really handy for a small parts design
2 nuts and bolts
2 springs
A piece of scrap mdf and a broken L bracket.
Drill a few holes,Slap it together, Job done ,
