I want to build a simple LPB clone but I want to do it all SMD.
Anybody know what SMD transistor (that Tayda sales) that I can use instead of a 2N5088/89?

Thanks

At first glance of comparing the datasheets, it looks like the BC849C they carry gets close on voltage ratings and hFe.

Thanks for that.
I was hoping someone would know off the bat. Wasn't expecting someone to go through data sheets for me! :icon_redface:
Thanks for your time.

You're welcome.  I didn't go through vary many though, just the (3?) NPN BC series ones they carry.  There may be better matches yet; there are alot of SMT transistors in the single transistor category, but alot of them look like they're better suited to power applications (high current rating) so I didn't really look at any of those.
