Hello all,

I'm currently running two guitar signals from my guitar into a box (one regular magnetic pickup and one piezeo pickup)

I am using a 3pdt footswitch as an on/off switch for when I change guitars.

my 3pdt looks like this

1 2 3  (lug 2 toggling between 1&3)
4 5 6  (lug 5 toggling between 4&6)
7 8 9  (lug 2 toggling between 7&9)

The magnetic pick up goes... into 2 and out of 1 and then into the amp OR into 2 then out of 3 into a tuner
The piezo pick up goes... into 5 and out of 4 and then into a DI OR into 5 then out of 6 to earth
The earth for the LED is wired 7 and the earth to 8 turning it on when the signals are going to the amp and DI

I've tried a couple of footswitches and 1M pull down resistors on lugs 1,3 and 4. I still get pops when I hit the switch. Also Unlike most guitar pedals there are no input or output capacitors in the box I know that caps of hold charge and can cause pops.

Any suggestions on what I've missed greatly appreciated.

Try disconnecting the LED to see if that is the cause of popping.

If it is, see this thread for a fix:

I just designed a new fuzz circuit! It almost sounds a little different than the last fifty fuzz circuits I designed! ;)
