So i decide to make a preamp not a booster to get a tube feeling on my TinyGiant amp that is currently on my workroom..

I have two candidates and since i dont know anything about tubes im asking if this is ok..

What do you think guys??

Ive been wondering about this, can i have a jcm2000 sound (just close to it) by a preamp??

Well if possible i want a clean/crunch channel on my preamp.. Anyone that would like to help??

Johan

Most of the sound in a jcm2000 comes from the preamp, so yes...I built one for my "lite-rig" with a nixie power supply, run from a 1 spot..works great .check the pedal board thread in the members only part of the forum (or search among my replies about a year ago, I don't post much do it shouldn't take long)
