finally got to record some decent sounds. Really short clip as i didn't have much time. Total of 4 tracks, tubescreamer in front, plugged direct into soundcard DI, poulin lecab2 cab sim with catharsis impulse, eq, little reverb, done!!

love it man!!! :icon_twisted:

What layout did you use? Any mods or just a straight up Dr.Boogey..?

tube screamer always a win! :icon_wink:
Doesn't matter what you did to get it... If it sounds good, then it is good!

What does the Tube screamer do in front? Is it just for boost?

Boost, tightens up the bottom end and sharpens the attack...

dead horse = tube screamer
Not a Dr.Boogie but this is the idea...

Interesting. I don't usually like the Tube Screamer, but sounds fine in this setting.

Sweet!

How does it sounds without the Tube Screamer in front of it?

tubescreamer adds the "chug" to the sounds, and a small bit of gain on the tubescreamer+small gain on boogey = better than lots of gain on the boogey. I used Gausmarkov layout, but i'm currently working on the pcb for a full tripple channel Dual rectifier. I'll share the files when i'm done.
