Just a riff on the Electra with some changes that make it louder and give better control of the distortion. But in a larger way, it's indicative of how my designs will look going forward. In most cases, I will start with a How-To like this one:

that offers a "guaranteed-to-work" beginner-friendly breadboard layout and some basic tweaks and mods. Then the same parts can be transferred to a soldered build on perf or PCB in the Bare Box #1. The breadboard kit is available immediately, and I will have the board design done in a week or so.
