Has anyone used 6c4 single triode preamp tubes?

I ask because i want to post a 6c4 driven treble booster schematic :icon_question:
Builds:Plexi superlead mkll 100,plexi superlead mkll 50, 59 plexi, 59 4x10 bassman, marshall bass and PA head 100, JTM45, modded JTM45-lead,JCM800 lead 50.

A 6C4 is basically half a 12AU7.  Anything you can do with one section of a 12AU7 you can do with a 6C4.  The ยต of 17 to 19.5 is adequate, but there are better tubes for this type of service.  I would go with a 6HA5 if I was going to put out a triode booster.

would this be a low voltage circuit? if so, it might be an idea to stick with a valve known to behave well, like 12AU7s
If at first you don't succeed... use bigger transistors!

I use them in my tube Echoplexes (EP-1 and EP-2) but never actually built anything with them.
