Hi!

I'm working on a D*A*M Sonic Titan clone, and was wondering how critical is it to use a A10k pot for the Gain knob?
The closest value I have is a B20k, and want to know if it'll affect the pedal?

AND - I don't have an LM386 \ JRC386 so was wondering if any of the below are equivalent:
RC4458P
JRC4558
TLO82/71

Thanks!

You can connect the pot in parallel with a 20k-24k resistor to get closer to 10k

No. Get a '386.

That's right - the 386 is a (low) power amplifier and the others you listed are op amps. Although they might share the same package these are totally different animals.

So I just connect pin 1 and 3 on the pot with a resistor?
