SMS buffer/splitter in Ernie ball vp

So I put the amz buffer splitter in my vpj works great but the highs are piercing. I have 2.2m right now it says to cool down the highs go to I think 470k for r2-3 and for hot hum buckers something like 10-22m I want a vet transparent response or as little tone shaping as possible do you guys think the 470k will work? I can post pics if anyone wants to see them
