Hi all,

I tried using the search function without any results.

I need to convert a midi clock signal to a CV/Gate signal to synchronize my Roland Juno-6 arpeggiator. I've seen many boxes on the market (i.e. MCV4) but those are too expansive for me.

Is there a good working and simple diy project? I just need a box with a midi input and one CV/Gate jack output.

Thank you!

I don't think you really mean CV/Gate -- that's something used to set a pitch and trigger a note.
What I think you want is a gadget with a digital clock output to drive the arpeggiator clock input on your Juno.

Check out my MCC-3.  I think it will do just what you need.

Hey PJ, thank you. It seems exactly what I need. Unfortunately I cannot afford it right now.

Is there a cheaper DIY project for something like that?

Thanks!

I've tried out this one: http://m.bareille.free.fr/mc628/mc628.html

It took me a lot of time finding components and stuff, but in the end it just doesn't work. It was a waste of time and money. I do not recommend to build projects listed on this website to anyone, since the webmaster does not reply to tech e-mails.

Does anyone have any other ideas? Thank you!
