For folks who are doing fresh layouts, not trying to repair an existing PCB, it's fine just to put the layout of the matched devices down on the PCB instead of an IC layout.

Monolithic IC circuits can be successfully implemented with dual or quad monolithic devices in many cases - those that don't require multi-emitter or multi-collector devices at least.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.
