It's cold today, so I'm happy to get my coat too.
I'm with you Rob, at 8:40ish (favourite settings!), that sounded pants.

p.s. I was hoping for a bit more controversy than that. How about a new arms effects race: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bu4ZOyHUr0g

Andy can make anything sound great.

Plus he's one heck of a fingerpicker. I've learned a lot from watching his later demos when he actually appears on screen. (I might be the only person who watches his demos just to pick up new playing techniques and doesn't really care about the pedal being demoed.)

Controversial?

I thought this might be about Vero layouts vs. Schematics...   ;o)

Why bother paying hundreds for a great sounding guitar ? You can plug any 100$ guitar into this thing and it will just sound the same : CRAP . It's just not musical .

Personally I quite liked his favourite sound, sometimes you want broken splatty fuzz.

I like JMK's Scuba Muff which has some nice mods. I prefer LED's for clipping.

I'm pretty fond of my skinny font russian, of course I've been using it for 20 or so years.

There is certainly a time and a place for a Big Muff.

My favorite setting on one of those is BYPASS, I had one in the late 1980's and thought what a load of shit.

So I will get my coat as well.

I think big muffs are really cool, have a cool sound and can be the perfect thing depending on what you're trying to do. The funniest part of that PGS video for me, was with the riff in question, how he said he preferred more of an "overdrive" tone. Yeah right... Because when I think of overdrive, especially "transparent", the first thing I think of is a Big Muff.  :icon_rolleyes: :icon_mrgreen:
