ok, so I decided to build it. Does anybody know where to buy cheap wah enclosure? ;)

gasmask

I realized that i would like to remove vol switch mod... I ve read that I have to make a jumper over 220k resistor... But what about 'the right side' (after Q2)? Should it be all removed?

Thanks for all replies

The buffer is only engaged when the wah is engaged.

Best place to get a shell is from a friend that bought a terrible sounding wah and they don't do anything with it.  Otherwise, get broken wahs at a certain online auction site.

Blitz Krieg

That 4.7uf must make it to ground.  That's why you need the jumper.  You are correct that you can ditch the junk on the right side.  No connection needs to be completed there.

Blitz Krieg

If you get a used Crybaby, the shell comes assembled and painted.  With an appropriate potentiometer, and very likely an inductor.  All this can be purchased for about the same price as that thing from mammoth.
