V-847 harness legend ?

The harness makes debugging particularly difficult for me.
This wah has been messed around with [all modded out]  and I haven't been able to successfully debug it, largely because it is difficult to follow the schematic through the 'blind board' [hard to see the traces] and the 'mystery harness wiring'.
In the interest of laziness and hopes of re-instating functionality, I'm wondering if there's a 'legend' to the wiring harness available for assisting debugging this unit.

I haven't seen one - I used to have a V-847 so might have been able to help.

I'm assuming that you are just looking to find out where each of the coloured wires is supposed to go?

You can see the traces fairly well in this picture:

http://www.gearslutz.com/board/attachments/so-many-guitars-so-little-time/50132d1202124835-anyone-got-vox-wah-they-can-pop-open-vox_wah_guts_-small-.jpg

And here's a copy of the schematic:

http://www.electrosmash.com/images/tech/v847/vox-v847-circuit-bias.png

It looks to me like the harness goes

Brown
Green
Yellow
Blue
White
Black
Red
Purple

Is the PCB still intact?

I can't quite tell whether the picture above and the wiring diagram below correlate, I might have to have a closer look this evening after work.

I hope this helps...

 Yupp, trying to reinstate functionality...
The PCB is intact, a bit worked over with mods, has sockets etc.
Yellow Fasel in it...
Thanks for the help, The harness makes it easy to remove the board but scrambles the schematic up a bit.
The last link seems to be the ticket.

Good stuff. There's also a decent guide to all the components on RG Keene's 'The Technology of Wah Pedals' page. If all else fails that might guide you in the right direction, as far as the functionality of each component in the circuit. I hope you get it going! It's a good little wah.

Pete, there are diagrams found at http://wah-wah.co.uk/bypass.html that have been very useful to me.
