Hello,

I'm wondering if its possible to make a log-antilog pot using a normal linear pot. I think this is called an S taper pot. What I'm referring to is a pot with a C taper on the first 20% of the curve and a log curve on the last 20% and remains linear in the middle.

I believe this is what you're referring to : http://sound.westhost.com/pots.htm#chg-law (observe the last image)

Quickly messing around in Excel shows thats a ratio between the alteration resistors and the main potentiometer between 1 : 2 and 1 : 10 gives okay looking end results.
