modulation/ 'motion' using pickup panning

title says it all...
I have experimented with using TRS feed from my bass to take each pickup individually to independent outboard filtering. Alot of interesting tonal stuff there..

It brings me to wonder how nice an envelope/LFO driven panning between pickups/tones would bring a new 'motion effect' to the table
