I'm getting a lot of static in the background of the wet signal on an Arion SCH-Z.

What should I look for?

I don't know this unit -  but if it's got a BBD the input bias could be out and there should be a trim pot for that.

Im having an issue with the same type of sound. I modded mine to have a vibe mode (kills the dry signal which is normally mixed) but I think it was noisy before. The BBD on the sch-z does not have a trimpot on it that I see. I wonder if you can put one in place of  resistor to bias correctly. The sch-1 does have a trimpot but sch-z doesnt. Ill post a link to the schematic if anyone can figure out a way to get rid of the extra noise. Other than that its a great pedal for leslie sounds!
THis page has the schematic.

Stompboxes are great , they usually can't kill ya like a tube amp!

Ok now IVe done it... I tried to do one more mod added trimpot for R26, now its doing what it did when I originally got it  (cheap cuz it was broken) it only passes the dry signal. There is no wet signal passing. SO to be clear when led is on it is the same as when bypassed I get clear guitar signal but no chorusing. Back to troubleshooting. Originally I got it working by just reflowing all the solder joints I could get to easily, voila it worked. But now I cant get it back. I put the R26 resistor back but no change. ANy Ideas? Is ther one key component in this circuit that controls the wet signal. Here is a link to page with the schematic.
