Which Tube Screamer pots are smooth shaft and which are knurled?

Did they switch them up over the years?  Are there any of the DIY shops that sell 20K W taper knurled with no detents?

I actually ordered that from them and it also had the detent. I wrote them and got this:

"Sorry for wrong product description, ALPHA stopped manufacturing not center-detent ones.
They said nobody ordering them so we go left only with center-detent ones.

Let me know if you can't use them.

Good news...just recently, Tayda did get the no detent ones back in stock, if I understand correctly.

They just replied:

"A-1960 is not "center detent" type.

If you want w20K with center detent , you need to order SKU# A-1959.

We just have corrected the name of SKU A-1960 in our website recently.
So,We apologize to you that do you confused.
