hi guys, i have the 'easyvibe' on breadboard as i have fancied building this for a while..and fancy a tinker with it.

however...all i seem to be getting is tremolo, rather than the 'trower/hendrix phasey' sound...

i'm using TL072's as it will be psu powered only..

but to be sure , is this schemo 'exactly the same as this pdf layout below?...

on this schemo what is this bit between the 100k and 10uf on the right?...just a drawing error i guess?....the out is between the 1uf and 100k right?..

i redrew it out as i see it...

I think the original is correct. The 100k to ground is to keep the output cap polarity correct and prevent bypass pop. If it had been drawn going straight out to the right instead of down, I think you would have recognized it.

hmmmm... cheers..

which one is vibe?...on the switch..

the one going to 10k?..or the 47k?.. just so i can get that working first....i'm guessing 10k

another thing:

opamp order:

top, left to right   dual 1 / dual 2/  then the last dual opamp on the right should be one side of opamp 3, and otherside of opamp 3 going to ?..(where the rate pot is?)

opamp 4 for depth and leds?....

Just be clear, you want a 0v connection between your C11 & R17.

Vib to the 10k? Chorus is original mixed with vibe, so Vibe only is just the phase shifter.

ahh so that squiggle i thought was an error is actually a ground...ok.

well 0v... ::)

How's this coming along, Rob?

I've got mine laid out on the breadboard, with a couple of tweaks - 68k instead of 47k in the dry opamp feedback path to bump up the output a smidge, 1k resistor from rate pot1 to vbias replaced with a 470r to slow down the slowest setting a little. I'm going with two knobs (for rate and depth), and a third discrete mini pot tucked away on the side (probably a 9mm pcb mount without a knob in a Way Huge style) for the 1k drive trim. I found the trim is handy to thicken or thin out the sound in combination

I'm working up a vero layout, but trying to get it smaller than the ones already out there (or there's not much point in doing my own). I've got 4 x TL062 running, one for the input (half unused) and the other three for phase stages and LFO, and I have an extra TL071 buffering the LFO signal. I'm wondering if anyone has doubled up the input opamp with the lfo buffer, and if so is it tick free? Getting rid of the "surplus" 8pin single opamp would free up some space.

hi man, yeah, i had it on breadboard for a while, sounded good, but seemed a little weaker than expected..

i wanted more 'phase' so went with the 'phasex' phaser, and glad i did....really nice... 8)

just finished tweaking the hell out of it..
