I drew up various layouts for the EZ Vibe, the one I've chosen has TL064's glued to popsickle sticks, The Popsickle Stick, Sick Phase Viber.
I wanted phase to dwell on or ''go over the top'' slow, so I'll try that.
I thought experimented with using another LDR, this one tied to the 'slow side' of the LFO speed pot, so that when the LFO gets starts lighting the LED's. some of the light will hit the 'auto slow' feature and cause a drop in R value across 2 of the rate pot lugs. Maybe I've got that reversed, so I'd have to put it on the other side of the pot...
I'm hoping it'll sound the 'top' of the sweep nice and long, then sound like a seriously out of balance flywheel, smoothly accellerating to round the bottom of the sweep quickly.
Haven't tried it yet, seems like seems like it'd work.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

It might be worth having a variable Vref on the  op-amp driving the LED's. That should bend the Tri into clipping one side leading to a dwell period?
