Hey guys, I'm learning to use Eagle and so far so good with the tutorials. Got the GM and MadBean libraries. I need a small board mountable socket/plug (pref 4 wire) to wire jacks and switches to. Can anyone recommend a part/manufacturer to fit the bill and is there a component in one of the libraries to match it?

the standard eagle distro comes with megabytes of libraries, chock'o'block full of connectors. I hate the bloody things and delete them all. however, there should be, in your lbr dir, called "con-someone.lbr", with someone being the company name or basic type. there is also a jumper lbr.

in the control panel window, just expand the libraries branch, and then some of the connector lib branches, see what is there, what suits your porpoise.

con-lsta.lbr, con-lstb.lbr, con-amp-quick.lbr, and the big daddy, con-molex.lbr all good starts.

Yah, gobs of stuff... too much. Don't know where to start. Thanx. I'll check.
