So I just finished populating the pcb and am ready to test it. The wiring diagram for this pedal is a little different than what I'm used to, especially in regards to some of the pot wiring. My test rig is very basic: IN, OUT, +9V, and ground. Can anyone help me simplify this so I can test it?

First, can you post a link to the schematic so we can see what's "different"?

And, can you elaborate a little on what has to happen for you to see if it works?  What exactly is causing you problems?

Here's the schematic: http://generalguitargadgets.com/pdf/ggg_superfuzz_sc.pdf

I'm specifically wondering if the wire coming off of lug 1 of the expander pot and runs to the sleeve of the input jack gets connected to ground on my test rig.

aron

Yes, it goes to ground - so any place that goes to ground is good.
