Hi everybody! It's been a couple of year since I last built some pedals (which I'm still using everyday)

I've recently got my hands on a Rocktron/Bradshaw switching system from the early 90's. Since I'm a working musician I wanted to try something like it.

Some of my pedals didn't sound quite right, so I did a google search. It seemes like it's made for line level rack gear. I opened it up and I could see six op-amps (!?) on each loop. (TL074 and also a NE5532). I measured a couple of resistors near the send and return to around 47k.

Would it be possible to do anything with this to make it work better with pedals? I'm guessing the input/output inpedance is wrong along with the gain...  :)

I know the modern solution is to use relay's, and that I could buy something like a Voodoo Lab GCX and make it work with the Bradshaw controller.

Hope somebody smarter than me could share their thoughts!  ::)
