About Fender Fender Princeton Reverb II

Hi there, i was wondering if any of you have built a Princeton Reverb II footswitch. Im having trouble with one i made, used this schematic:



reverb activator works fine, lead channel not so much. it kinda distorts the signal, but it sounds very feeble, also low volume. It works just by shunting a signal to ground right? specifically red Ring to ground.. any ideas what could it be? cheers

hi.. that's my diagram   it's been on the web for 12 years and several folks have built it without trouble. As you will know, it's a pretty simple thing and the clever (and quirky) stuff takes place inside the amp.
