Testers for clipper circuit

The X-Clipper, gotta call it something.

I whipped up this circuit in my head earlier and need someone to test it.
All my gear, breadboards, components and such are all packed away as I am  moving in a few days, but this circuit wont leave me alone and
need to know if it works.

R2 should probably be a pot as this should effect the gain/drive.

The op-amp can be any op- amp but I recommend a single supply one like the LM358 or JRC4558 and similar.

Play with the diode and cap values.

gain needed to clip the diodes
diode type(s)
input RC for guitar loading and input high pass and interaction with the guitar/bass and cable
input and output series resistors

Nothing new under the sun.  That's why we look elsewhere. But props, for pre-tone is awesome, and not all that common.  Subtler than guitar roll-off. Discovered I'm not that fond of post-fuzz filtering
