Terrible volume drop when pedal engaged

Hi there.

Recently I purchased an Ibanez UE300. This unit has 3 effects (St. Chorus, Overdrive and Compressor), each one with its own switch. The unit has an extra master switch that engages or disengages all the effects. The problem I have is that when I activate the master I have a huge volume drop on the output, I can hardly hear the effect but when I disengage the master to the bypass position, everything sounds at the proper volume.

Anyone can give me a hand about what should I check to fix this? The output jacks were replaced on this one.

Thanks in advance.

You have a pretty rare, collectible and valuable beast. Take good care of it.

Maybe it is best to keep it as a collection item and buy separate TS9, CP9 and CS9.

As for your problem, it may be ANYTHING in the signal path, so it's hard to tell. Unfortunately you'll have to open it and test bit by bit.
