Thanks, if nothing interrupts I'll be etching it in the next few days.

Boards etched  :)

Dry fit reveals lots of room.

I'm missing some parts for the delay, you could say there's been a delay ;)

Making drill templates and drilling today (cordless drill was out of battery, else I'd have at least one enclosure drilled now). Then there's painting and waiting for parts to arrive, and we all know that that's like watching paint dry.

Is that board painted? Wow, I might start doing that. Looks pretty sweet that way.

Floor-mat at the front entrance to my former place of employment. Oh... the irony.

A light sanding and two coats of white.

Testing the drilling of the Professor Tweed.

Looks like it's good to go (the board is missing three wires).

Unfortunately I didn't pay attention while making the drill template for the LPB-1, so I messed up the position of the jacks and there's just not enough tolerance to squeeze the parts in (jack interferes with one of the caps). I'm still debating wether I should remake the board or the box. I guess I'll choose the box as the drill wandered slightly on two or three of the holes. I'll just get a fresh drill bit first.

Yeah, I'm thinking about power supply too. Bought a 12v ac wall wart, I'll rectify and regulate that and I have a daisy chain to power them all.

The builds are moving at an alarmingly slow pace :( I'll have to get the pace up or limit the number of pedals I build.

I'm enjoying seeing these come to life, and what a great present!!!

Finally a break that might make me finish this on time. My brother announced the date for his birthday party, February 14th :D

So, two weeks to go, time to start up again.

Made a drilling template for the Rebote today, I'll try to find the time to actually drill it tomorrow. Then sand, paint and make the graphics for it...

I'm in the middle of making a rebote 3 at the moment as well.. Unfortunately, I am missing the 24k, 680k, and the 5V regulator. Waiting on some sales first before placing another order. Let me know how yours goes.

The board is built and tested substituted the 24k resistors with 22k (if my memory serves me). Mine is a Rebote 2.5 though.

Drawn in Inkscape, just exported to crappy png for your viewing pleasure. Box drilled, gonna go prime it now and perhaps lay down a layer of paint or two. I'll look at the pot ordering again before printing it. My Little Angel still has the labels mixed up, don't want that to happen here.

I've been secretly following this thread for a while now and wanted to tell you everything looks fantastic. I've built more Rebote 2.5's than I care to admit, but the smallest I've ever built them (aside from SMD) was a 125B. Your 1590B layout looks fantastic, and if you have no objection I might try it out sometime :icon_mrgreen:
