Mxr doubleshot distortion repair/debug

I picked up an mxr doubleshot distortion for cheap with a few issues. It doesn't seem like there is a schematic available but I'm just looking for some general guidance. It is 2 distortions in one that are switchable, not stacked. The board is smd so between that and no schematic, I might be parting it out. It runs at 18v and it seems to mostly work... The previous owner thought there was a bad pot and stomp switch but I checked continuity on the switches and it seems to be good none of the pots are scratchy when rotated. The pedal powers up normally and the distortion works on both channels. The on off led works fine but the other four are dim and flickery. The distortion works mostly but it bogs down sometimes, lower output worse sounding signal then goes back to normal. It does this on BOTH channels. I'm thinking it could be fried from a wrong power supply... Is it possible that it would work as I've described if that had happened or would it be dead?
