My thoughts exactly when I looked over the dimensions. Also a 1590bb with an extra 4mm of depth would make all my dreams come true  :icon_razz:

I'm seriously considering switching to 125BBs for that reason... just a little more room makes a big difference!  :D

1590bbs is 8mm deeper.  Also the other dimensions are ever so slightly different... possibly an Eddystone relabel?

Thats at least 3mm too much  :P
thanks for the heads up! with that extra depth you could stack a jack and a pot (w. dust seal) without problems like having to be super precise with the drilling or having to cut the plastic of the jacks into shape for the back panel.

davent

Dust seals, i usually trash those.

Floor-mat at the front entrance to my former place of employment. Oh... the irony.

Destroyed in removal and i've stopped ordering from the Thai crack dealer.

That's actually a pretty convenient size for a number of things.  I regularly see ads for people either selling a footswitch unit for an amp, or looking for a footswitch unit for their amp, or asking here how to wire up a footswitch unit for their amp.  This chassis size would make an excellent footswitch replacement for an amp.  Even if you have a footswitch unit, imagine having parallel latching and momentary switches for the same functions, so that you can engage a function for as long as you hold your foot down, and then revert back when you lift your foot.

I used to really be with it!  That is, until they changed what "it" is.  Now, I can't find it.  And, I'm scared!  --  Homer Simpson's dad

Yes, the 1590BB "Tall" or 1590C enclosure would get you a fair bit of extra depth. 50mm instead of 34mm on the 1590BB.

Also it's an interesting idea to build something other than loopers in the 1032L (thus wanting a slimmer version). It'd be fun to do a 4 or 5-in-1 pedal in one of those! I wonder how many people have done it...I can see the 1590A tiny pedal craze turning into the looper case giant pedal craze.  :icon_lol:

bluebunny

I meant to ask, Rob, but did you look at this kind of thing?

Got a smaller version to do duty as a triple footswitch (although I've not got around to using it yet!).  The bottom plate slides out to give access to the innards, so you don't have to paper your hallway from the letter box at the end!  It's not die-cast aloominum, so drillage isn't such a walk in the park, but doubtless a mere trifle for a bloke of your calibre.
