Hi All

I've just completed my first homemade pedal and it works (on second go - my soldering skills were horrendous first time round).

I used the verified vero design at the bottom of this page: http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=82053.0;prev_next=next

I haven't cranked it up yet as the kids are in bed but the issue I'm having is I cant get the drain lower than about 7.3v.  Nowhere near the 5.5v suggested.  Which ever way I turn the trim pot from the 12 o'clock position, the drain goes higher.

Being a noobie, does anyone have any suggestions on what may cause this and how I rectify?

Any suggestions would be more than welcome

Kind Regards

That link has no vero, nor is the topic related at all to the May Queen.

In any case, the symptoms you describe sound like you have not connected the trimpot properly - check your connections.

Thanks for the reply GGBB.

That link has seem to got corrupted.   Even if you Google 'May Queen Vero', the top link (which is the one I've always used), takes you to Fay Zher page.

Ok.  I'll have a look at the trim pot connections again.

Thanks again

I saw your other May Queen thread post and made some comments there.
