Any simple blend circuit for ross compressor?

Tried buff n blend today with no luck due to the phase problem.
Tried PRR's mod as suggested by this topic:

Seriously: the solution of a problem starts with a good Description of the problem. My amplifier explodes. Or, I got big buzz, Or, I got no sound at ALL. Or, sound happened but it wasn't what I wanted.

Thanks PRR, The blender will output white noise went the blend pot get 100% wet.

At 100% wet, it is just a direct connection from Return to Out. The buffer/inverter is way out of play. I suspect a wiring error.

I will try it again today.
Two more question. I don't have resistor with such high value. Can you suggest a lower substitution?
I am using J201 for the fet. It is correct?

Here is an opamp based blend for the Ross/Dyna.  It solves the phase issue, summing them together.  However you do the blend, it opens up a lot of useful sounds with that compressor.  If I were building one now, it would be cool to have a stompswitch for the blended, more subtle sound, and the full on squish effect.

The three way switch Mark Hammer has suggested for changing the recovery time (often erroneously referred to as the attack time mod) is great as well.  The 3 way switch is better than a knob, because the differences aren't that huge, and it's easier to get back to a favorite sound by limiting the options with settings.

These circuits are too complicated. I want to keep the parts as few as possible. Will the circuit I post at the beginning work?

It's not that many parts, and it's going to be hard to find one with less that will work as well. You need the buffering and coupling caps etc to make it work properly.
