I recently rehouse a boss OC-2 because I needed top mounted jacks to fit on my board.  I also wanted to add a boost to it because when I solo the -1 octave (how I use it 90% of the time( there is a volume drop.  So I added a MXR micro amp clone after the effect and it works great.

However, the boost is in my chain even if the octave is off.  I know this is because I kept the original buffered bypass and used a SPST momentary switch for the on and off.  Does anyone know how I can find out where in the circuit to patch in the boost so that it is only on when the pedal is on?

Thanks

Thanks,  which side would be the send and which the return?

Return will be the point connected to R12/Q3 junction, so Send will be the other point. Like this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/uga2o495t2e3lgu/oc2%20pcb.jpg?dl=0
