Next time first type the 3 letter acronym into google, it's the first result on verbatim, as is the case with most simple things :) Get an answer much faster and you will avoid people posting things such as: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=smd

EDIT: I meant that there was no proper explanation on the first page of google for SMD. (now it has suddenly appeared as the second link wtf...)

Not on verbatim(the search when no personal algorithms are applied).

google tracks what you are interested in, and puts search results closer to your interests first ;)
