The "Flying Pan", stereo guitar output [Neck and bridge PU sources] feed stereo panner [tm'd ]?
Like the recent Telecaster broadcasts...each pickup feeds one side of a stereo panner.
Sounded like something I would like to cook up for dinner. Last night I had power supply for dinner.
We might want some wobble in the LFO waves in the panner.
And to appropriately apply some research on how much attenuation is really needed, where in the 'mix-balance' range is the phase-er effect most noticable and tweekable...a few extra knobs on a panner should make it easier to study 'how far down' one might need/like to go...whether panning one side/pickup ATW down is necessary, or just rolling the volume on one side to what would be "8" on the guitar volume creates a less even shift.
A smooth but less subtle fast to slow range of pan auto speed control, Vibe to Leslie [ish] sounds seems like a worthy, attainable goal. Option for mix/summed and stereo-thru output option of course.

Convention creates following, following creates convention.
