Help debug Boss CE-2

No delayed signal, direct signal is ok.
schematic:
On pin 3 (In) IC3 MN3007 signal is present, no signal on pins 7 & 8 (Outs),
LFO is working, signal is present on Depth pot lug 2.
Can`t check Q4, Q5, IC4, IC3.
Need any data: voltages, frequencies on this elements, on working device.
Thanks for any help.

Fixed.
But the beating of oscillator or driver is heard.

I guess Boss didn't find it necessary to decouple the LFO (as far as i can tell), so a few things to try:


  • Does the LFO (IC2 area) ground travel down the same wire as signal ground? If so, disconnect it, and give the LFO it's own ground wire. Connect it to other grounds at the chassis ground point (or jack ground point). Look up "star grounding" for a basic idea.
  • How close is the LFO to the signal path? You should keep them some distance apart, if possible. Keep all input/output wiring away from the LFO.
