Im having a little issue with my boss ds-1 led. Now I did the JHS synth mod
http://www.freestompboxes.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=24079
and now my led wont work. I was also told by a few other people that did this mod that the 2 leds in series that replaced D5 flash to the tempo but theyre not doing anything either. The mod works perfectly just not the led so I thought the led resistor which is the one changed in the instructions (R35) so I replaced it with a 2.7k and still nothing. Does anyone have anyother thoughts on where to look?

Measure the voltage at the status LED to confirm it's getting something in the first place and check the the polarity of your other LED pair to make sure it's the same as the original D5.
Bringing you yesterday's technology tomorrow.

ok well I checke the voltage and it's getting 0.11 at the positive of the status led. Just wondering but what should the voltage be? I just tried 3 different leds, took out the leds at D5 and swapped them around, replaced D5 with a single led, I even tried different values on the CLR. The mod says to change to a 1K1 but I allso tried a 1K and a 3k9 which is the stock value, and still nothing. Im so confused with this. Is this a common issue or something?

Heres the schematic but I'm sure most of you are very familiar with this...
