Where to find (female) right angle DC plugs for pedal board???

Unbelievably, it seems that short, right angle at both ends, female 2.1mm DC cables for a standard pedal board are not easily found (why? Right angles create much more space!).

So far all I can find is MALE cables (no good for a standard pedal board or fx pedal), or right angle only at one end, or male and one end and female at the other, or they are way too long.

I seriously can't believe how hard they are to find.

Can anyone please point me in the right direction?

I basically want these:

but half the length.

Cheers!

The link points to Male cables not Female. I'm having difficulty understanding how a female ( socket) can be right angled.
Have you considered making up what you require yourself? That way you end up with exactly the length you need

Do they have to be right angle at both ends? Buy those cords you linked to, cut the cord in half and solder on a new plug, either straight or right angle. The straights Tayda (can't believe i'm saying that) sells can be adapted to right angle. Cut off the strain relief, drill a hole through the side of the barrel  and run the cable through that. The end hole can then be plugged with silicone sealant.

I haven't done the right angle trick, cooder at Madbean has and it looks real nice, i do cut the strain relief off to conserve space.

Pedal board by cooder over at Madbean, will have to scroll down to see the completed baord showing his right angle modded power plugs.

Thanks - yes, at both ends.
Why does nobody sell these?
They take up less pedalboard space.

I'll take a look at your suggestions but really want to avoid doing fiddly soldering work, especially as I am not great at it and I want reliable, safe cables...

Tayda has them and I bought some. It seems the plug is not really secure in the plastic housing though. If you plug it in and leave it, they should be ok.

I use these from Mouser.  They're kinda cheap, and I've found it best to hot glue the things together or else the back thing falls off, but then they work just great.

Voodoo Lab makes them with righties on both ends but they might still be a bit long for you - 18 inches is their shortest. Sold many places. I would personally find 12 inches too short for most pedals on my board - have you actually measured or are you just guesstimating? (Wow, guesstimating passes my browser's spell checker!)

No - they make all combinations - straight-straight, angled-straight, and angled-angled: http://www.voodoolab.com/shop/index.php?cPath=22_24_28 (2nd box down)
