Messing around with circuit sim, and just trying out random things. I'm not the most knowledgeable, but thought someone here might have some info.
I created a bridged T filter as you can see here with the R6 and R7 and capacitor network tied to the source of the transistor.
I'm getting a pretty useful notch, and the reason I placed it on the source is because I know it's an out of phase signal. I could be going about this all wrong, but if I mix that with a regular signal, I'll get the opposite effect, leaving nothing but the notched region.
Am I going about this right? or all wrong?

I don't know if there is a better way to achieve a boost in one region, like the opposite of a notch.

Maybe a high Q bandpass...
