I am building a bass and i am planning to make a wah wah inside it with a tremolo style arm instead of a pedal because there is a 3x3 inch cavity inside the body. Anyone have any suggestions?
By the way, i want to use a opamp for this purpose.

Sorry, but... coming from a different, not tainted by guitar slang past, please stop calling the whammy bar tremolo, when it actually does vibrato...

For a version of that schem that has been breadboarded and includes component values known to work, please see this article:

But it's Not what I would call a Very simple build. Might be too many parts to fit in your cavity. Also, you don't indicate what your experience level is with FX. If you can build a bass, sure, you are handy enough to build a board layout that someone else has done. But are you up to creating on your own something buildable? As for simplicity, a Twin-T Wah (mentioned elsewhere in R. G.'s article) might be the ticket. You might even want to control it with a pressure-sensitive resistor:

Again, however, you'd need to be able to do considerable breadboarding and layout to get to where you want to go.

here is a  twin T that i modded from tim escobedo's ' idiot wah' i know it isn't opamp, but is very low parts count. i used a 22k pot, i think 10k might work ok as well.

the reason i bring up 10k is-- the millions of rockband video game guitar controllers had a wang bar attached with a return spring and ( usually) a 10k pot inside. they are extremely plentiful in thrift stores, i believe could be adapted for real guitar quite easily.

hey, thanks everyone. i think i'm going to use the Lefty Idiot Wah, because those parts are also already available at where i'm going to make it.
can't wait to get started, i wil use a 2.5x2.5 inch velleman testboard, since i've used that type of board before for some distortions i build.
One question left: Should i make the caps bigger because it's a bass??

If you refer to In and OUT caps, yes  - but I think (not calculate) their current values are quite OK for bass..
