Log taper pot for "delay level" control in delay pedal?

On my delay pedal the "delay level" amount is already too loud with the knob on "1" --  it's very difficult to tweak the dry/ wet mix with this knob.  Would it make sense to try a log taper pot for "delay level" instead of linear taper?  Would a log pot likely give a little more dial range between "none" and "too much"?  Thanks for any suggestions!

Yep.

Not much change up to "1" in this picture.  The rate of change "speeds up" the further you turn the pot.

The list of applications in which a log pot is NOT recommended for use in a volume-level manner can probably be counted on the fingers of one hand.  Yes, use a log taper pot.
